Meet the Funder Events
Get Grants are running a series of FREE Virtual Events bringing fundraisers across the UK together to share experiences and connect with other fundraisers
In these popular Meet the Funder Virtual Events, Get Grants Funding Experts are joined by funders to talk about their funding programmes. These events give attendees the opportunity to speak directly to funders, take part in discussions, get unique insights, and ask questions specific to their project or organisation.
These events are suitable for fundraisers working for a wide range of not-for-profit organisations of all sizes.
Free business support from BVSC
BVSC has secured a limited amount of funding through the National Lottery Community Fund to support up to 50 organisations in Birmingham impacted financially by Covid-19 and/or who require support to apply for funding.
The support available includes up to four days consultancy:
- Support that takes account of financial difficulty, liquidity, legal responsibilities, and governance.
- Providing business planning and support with fundraising/business development and grant/funding applications.
To apply for funding your organisation must:
- Be a registered charity, social enterprise (with no one individual having overall control) or voluntary organisation with a recognised governance structure.
- Have a turnover of less than £100,000 or be financially impacted by the Covid-19 pandemic.
