💛 In the Spotlight: Celebrating Growth, Resilience, and Community with Hope Inspired CIC

29 July 2025

Earlier this month, we had the honour of attending the Hope Inspired CIC Celebration Event—a moving and empowering gathering that spotlighted the transformative impact of their personal leadership programme for women.

Hope Inspired CIC provides support to women navigating a range of challenges, including low confidence, poor mental health, trauma, poverty, and social isolation. Through their programmes, they create safe, non-judgemental spaces where women can build connections, rediscover their voice, and step into their own power.

During the event, we had the privilege of hearing directly from participants about their journeys. Their stories reflected not only individual growth but also the deep emotional resilience cultivated through the programme.

One participant shared:

“Through this programme I have learned how to be mindful and listen to my own silence. The knowledge I have picked up here has fed into a parenting course that I now have the confidence to do. Everything I have learned here I’m applying to my other volunteer roles. I have grown so much this year just by joining this group and this course. It has truly built me as a person.”

Time and again, we heard how the programme had not only enhanced women’s emotional wellbeing but also fostered strong, lasting bonds. Many described the sense of sisterhood formed in the sessions—friendships and support networks they’re committed to nurturing beyond the programme’s end.

Our very own Thieba Bibi presented certificates to the women who completed the 24-week programme—each one a testament to courage, growth, and perseverance.

At our Celebration Event earlier this year, Hope Inspired launched a powerful video highlighting the voices and journeys of participants. It was a moment of collective celebration, reflection, and hope.

A heartfelt thank you to Khairun Butt, Kheira Mohammed, and the entire Hope Inspired team for inviting us—and for the life-changing work you continue to do in our communities.
