NNS Governance

The Hall Green NNS programme is funded by Birmingham City Council and is being coordinated by GreenSquareAccord Housing Association.

Neighbourhood Network Schemes are locality and constituency based networks set up to enable the engagement with and investment in community assets. The purpose is to support people aged 50+ and adults with a long term disability to connect to individuals, groups, organisations, activities, services and places in their neighbourhoods. This approach is central to Birmingham City Council’s community social work model and the overall investment by Adult Social Care in “Prevention First”.

At Hall Green Neighbourhood Network Scheme our governance procedures play a big part in the work we do. Our governance is the way that we are managed at our highest level, ensuring that all the work that we do is fair and managed properly.

The Hall Green NNS Steering Group, which includes representatives from Birmingham City Council, BVSC, the Hall Green Social Work teams, a range of statutory agencies and community organisations and local citizens, has been set up to steer the project.

We are actively encouraging citizens of Hall Green to get involved with parts of our governance procedures, including our Steering Group and Grants Panel. Please email the team at HallGreen.NNSTeam@greensquareaccord.co.uk if you are interested in these opportunities.
