Book a Drop-in
Our Hall Green Families Drop-ins provide an opportunity for us to meet with families that you work with and connect them to the local support that they need. These could be services around food provision, mental health, debt and benefit advice, or clothing and school uniform, to name a few.
If you would like our team to drop-in to your school or organisation to speak directly to families or young people please complete this form so we can book you in.
Emergency Support Grants for Families & Vulnerable People
We can offer up to £100 grant to help families deal with emergency food and fuel costs. To apply for the grant for yourself/your family, please fill out a Family Connect Form (Self-Identification). If you are a professional looking to apply on a family’s behalf, please complete the above Family Connect Form (for Professionals).
Birmingham City Council’s Local Welfare Provision (LWP) scheme helps vulnerable people in short-term crisis with food and essential items. These funds are grant-based, which means people who receive help from them will not have to repay anything.
Discretionary Housing Payments are also available to those suffering serious financial hardship. They provide extra help with rent when Housing Benefit, Local Housing Allowance, or Universal Credit doesn’t cover the full amount.
