The Hall Green Neighbourhood Network Scheme, in partnership with New Training is proud to offer Autism Awareness Training to community organisations operating in the Hall Green area.
This training is designed for parents, educators, healthcare professionals, employers, community workers, and anyone supporting individuals with autism. Whether in schools, workplaces, healthcare, or the wider community, this course equips you with the knowledge and confidence to make a difference.
Autism touches every part of society. By raising awareness, we create inclusive, supportive environments where individuals with autism can thrive.
This training helps you:
- Improve communication and understanding
- Reduce stigma and misconceptions
- Provide better support for individuals and families living with autism
By the end of this 3-hour programme, you’ll be able to:
✔ Recognise the key characteristics of autism
✔ Communicate effectively with individuals on the spectrum
✔ Create and adapt environments to be more inclusive
✔ Navigate legal and ethical responsibilities
✔ Identify local support and resources
