🤝Our Partnership & Community Connector, Saiqa, recently attended the Shaping Birmingham’s Future Together (SBFT) Marketplace, held at Sheldon Community Centre in Yardley – A vibrant space bringing residents, local organisations, and Birmingham City Council together to share info, spark ideas, and explore ways to collaborate.
✨ The Marketplace was all about creating connections and sparking collaboration:
🔹 Inform: Residents learned about the wide range of services and support available in their community.
🔹 Engage: Saiqa and attendees connected with council officers, local partners, and fellow community members, sharing insights and experiences.
🔹 Collaborate: Together, participants explored ways to work jointly to improve outcomes for citizens and strengthen community support networks.
💬Saiqa said:
“It was lovely to go along to the last of 10 SBFT events as we were part of the first one back in January. It was great to catch up with the team and see what is on offer. Looking forward to meeting in the new year for discussions of future events.”
