Hall Green Neighbourhood Network Scheme are hosting a Deaf Awareness session aimed at individuals and organisations working in the Hall Green constituency.
The session will take place on Tuesday 7 May (10am – 1pm) at The Muath Trust, Stratford Road, Birmingham, N11 1AR.
Light refreshments will be provided
The aim of the session will be:
- Understanding those that are deaf, their language and communication.
- Addressing barriers and how to overcome them.
- Understanding the disability as a social and not medical issue
Please note that this training is free of charge but there are limited spaces available. By booking a place you will be expected to attend. Please be considerate and advise as early as possible if you are unable to attend so that others can take your place.
