The Hall Green Neighbourhood Network Scheme (NNS) hosted its first-ever Celebration Event, bringing together local grantees, stakeholders, and community champions for an morning of inspiration, connection, and gratitude. The event shone a spotlight on the remarkable projects and organisations that have been funded and supported by Hall Green NNS, all working tirelessly to make a difference in the Hall Green Constituency.
“This celebration was all about highlighting the amazing work happening right here in our community,” said Thieba Bibi, Project Manager of Hall Green NNS. “It was a chance to honour the passion and dedication of those who work every day to support our citizens and to connect with others who share a vision for a thriving, inclusive Hall Green.”
A Celebration of Community Impact
The event, held on Thursday, 27th February, showcased the incredible work of grassroots initiatives that have tackled social isolation, supported older adults, and brought together younger adults with learning difficulties through art, culture, and shared experiences. It was an uplifting evening filled with heartfelt stories, networking opportunities, and powerful performances.

Attendees heard from a plethora of different projects, all working with marginalised communities across Hall Green:
We heard participant stories of difference from Mila CIC and the impact and inclusion they are creating for Central and Eastern European communities across Birmingham.
Hope Inspired shared their journey so far and created a platform from two of their regular attendees to share how the group has impacted them.
All Saints Youth Inclusion Project shared how their efforts in employability are paying off for the young people they work with. The wonderfully inclusive Crafting Conversations Choir captivated the audience with their breathtaking harmonies.
The event was truly brought to life by the vibrant garments created by the Bold Actions Sewing club in their carnival style fashion show and of course, crowds were entertained by Mr Bollywood’s moves and more!
As well as engaging entertainment from MR Bollywood, who brought energy to entire event!
Exclusive Video Premiere
A special highlight of the evening was the exclusive premiere of the Hall Green NNS Impact Video, showcasing the transformative work of local projects and the lives they have touched. Now available on our social media channels, this video is a tribute to the incredible contributions of the individuals and groups making Hall Green a better place for all.
