Understand. Support. Empower.

Dementia is a condition that affects millions of individuals and families across the UK. Our Dementia Awareness Training is a 3-hour session designed to give participants a meaningful understanding of what it’s like to live with dementia. Whether you are a professional carer, a family member, or someone supporting individuals in your community, this course will provide you with the knowledge and tools to offer compassionate, person-centred care.
This 3-hour Dementia Awareness course offers essential insight into the experience of living with dementia. It’s designed for anyone who supports, cares for, or interacts with individuals living with dementia—whether professionally or personally.
A key part of the course focuses on effective and empathetic communication. You’ll gain practical skills to engage respectfully and supportively with individuals living with dementia, while also learning how to contribute to dementia-friendly environments—whether at home, in the workplace, or within the community.
