Thrive Together Birmingham
Thrive Together Birmingham are looking for Food Champions to collect non-perishable items, donated by neighbours on your street. These will be redistributed to those in need. For details see: https://feedbirmingham.org/.
Bethel Network
Bethel Network are looking for volunteers who can speak community languages to join support their Rapha Listening Service. In particular Bethel Network are interested in recruiting volunteers who speak Arabic, Bengali, Panjabi, Somali, Swahili and Urdu. Contact 0777 668 6855 / 0121 389 0627.
Muath Trust
The Muath Trust are one of our two Hall Green NNS Community Hubs who have been funded to support citizens who may be struggling through the COVID-19 pandemic. They are covering the areas of Sparkhill, Sparkbrook and Balsall Heath and have a number volunteer roles available. There is a need for volunteers who speak a number of community languages including Punjabi, Bengali, Arabic, Urdu, and Somali. Moseley Misfits
Moseley Misfits are a group that have been set up Misfits Music who aim to provide a space for adults in Birmingham who can play any musical instrument at any level. Moseley Misfits are looking for volunteers to help support their socially distanced summer activities being ran from Moseley Park and Pool throughout July and August on Thursday evenings. Women’s Enterprise Hub and ISE
The Women’s Enterprise Hub and ISE are looking Community Outreach Volunteers. This role involves supporting the WECH (Women’s Enterprise Community Hub) to deliver support services in B12 and local surrounding areas to improve access to mental health services, debt management and facilitate community engagement.
